I finally decided to join the rest of the world and start a blog. I recently have been trying to put more of my knowledge into the public domain, so it seemed like a good idea. I have also been exploring the worlds of wikis, blogs, and content management systems lately. I really like to make websites by hand, with my favorite editor vim, but I am also starting to do some web hosting, and lots of people want wikis and content management systems.
So here I go, off into the world of the blog. I plan to share some of my personal experiences solving problems. I find myself doing a lot of searching around the internet for help on computer stuff, often with the exact right solution, but frequently I only get a hint, or perhaps a hint in the totally wrong direction, so I hope that by sharing some of my own solutions it will add to the general knowledge base of the internet.
